Google was a massive help in my coursework as i could research other music magazines, collect images and research anything i needed to. Google is very easy to use and easy to copy and paste from.

Word and paint i used a lot at the start of my coursework as i wasn't familiar with photoshop i found it easy to use a programme i knew how to work . I used it to change parts of my name and logo, to test out fonts and to save some documents of coursework.

Hannah, you have worked really hard on this and in spite of the comment about receiving no help on the Quick Time (I did produce a sheet ha...hem!)I will forgive you, you deserve chocolate! Here is the outline of what I think and how I plan to award the marks - remember, this could change...
ReplyDeletePlanning and research (17 out of 20) Excellent evidence of planning. Research into target audience conducted in detail and displayed using different mediums. Detailed deconstructions of relevant materials included and all stages of the planning process included. Hannah has shown excellent time management skills.
Construction (45 out 60)Excellent mode of address very suited to T.A. Some issues with masthead size/format, there are also a few issues with spacing in contents and DPS (check spelling in Editorial profile and throughout - don't overuse the ! mark). However, house style is well developed; original images were excellent and progress from ancillary was very good indeed.
Evaluation (16 out of 20). A very detailed evaluation plotting progress from ancillary to completed task. Excellent use of different mediums to display reflections, again evidencing developments in technology awareness. Hannah has demonstrated considerable skill and insight. However, to improve this grade Hannah should have used a little more media specific theory (audience theory)to boost her analysis.
