The i on the newspaper shows us that it is linked to the independent newspaper. It is recognisable as the i is very big bold and red. Also the i draws people attention when looking on shop shelves, also it is placed on the left hand side so people can see it and want to buy it. The front page is divided into sections so people cans skin read and get to the page that they are interested in quicker.
i magazine is a small, modernized version of ‘The Independent’ whose appearance is bias to younger. It is advertised on the TV, increasing people’s awareness. on the front cover is an email address, facebook address and twitter address on the front page.
